Prior knowledge required?
Basic experience with installing bituminous roofing with a burner is required.
Theory:
- The basic theoretical rules will be tested by the instructor during the practical exercises.
Practice:
- The student will independently install a double-layer system (self-adhesive partial underlay with a torched top layer) on PIR ALU insulation with vapour barrier, including the detailed finishings.
- An explanation of other possible bituminous roofing systems will be given and demonstrated during the practical exercises
At the end of this training course, the student will:
- be able to install an IKO roofing flat roof system to the highest standard.
- be able to call upon the IKO ALL-IN insured guarantee for all projects, as long as all other conditions are met.

- Work clothing – please note: you will be working with flames!
- Suitable clothing is necessary.
